Austria 1 - Bronze medal by Loepold Heuberger (1786-1839), dated 1827. It shows a portrait of Beethoven and his name. On the reverse side, there is a score and laurels. A text gives the dates and places of birth and death of the composer. A text says: 'Wer, wie er, der Zeit vorausgeeilet den Erreicht die Zeit zerstörend nicht' (Whom , like him, who could rush ahead of time, time cannot destroy). Ø 39 mm. |

Austria 2 - Silver medal by Josef Nikolaus Lang (1776-1835), dated 1827. It shows a portrait of Beethoven and his name. On the reverse side is a sad genii and a abandonned lira, with laurels. There are also the dates of birth and death of Beethoven. Ø 44 mm. |
