This sculpture of Beethoven was created by Ernst Julius Hähnel. It's a copy of the statue erected at Bonn - perhaps the original model. Hähnel was working at Dresden with Gottfried Sempers when he sculpted the piece at Bonn. The statue is kept at the museum of Modern Art at Dresden. |
