The Great Theatre of Geneva was inspired by the Opera Garnier in Paris. |
Jacques-Elysée Goss created this building
between 1861 and 1875.
Eight busts were created for the building by Hugues Bovy (1841-1893). The front: Rossini, Boieldieu, Rousseau and Beethoven. The side: Mayerbeer, Weber, Mozart and Donizetti. |
